Twenty-five years, after working consistently and faithfully in ensuring that PDP in Ogor ward remain solidified, Delta State Governor, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed its Foremost National leader, Olorogun Kpuwhara Avbe Anthony JP, as his Senior Special Assistant, (SSA Political.)
The appointment by Governor Sheriff broke the 25years jinx of Kpuwhara working for the PDP without recognition at the state level.
Hon Kpuwhara, who graduated from the great University of Benin,Benin City, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree B.Sc in Geography and Regional Planning with Second Class Upper Division. ( 1989/1990). Certificate in Office Management, (Computer Science 2000.)
At the local government level, he was elected Councillor 1999-2002,
Supervisory Councillor for Education from 2008-2011.
He was Party Chairman, PDP Ughelli North L.G.A 2006, Chairman, Ogor Federal ward, Election committee in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 respectively.

On the receipt of the appointment letter dated Thursday 21st December 2023, Hon Kpuwhara said, “I am grateful to God almighty and his Excellency Rt.Hon. Eldr. Sheriff F.O.Oborevwori for considering him, worthy to be appointed.
I am promising to put in my best to ensure the M.O.R. E Agenda of his administration is achieved to the benefit of all Deltans.
